color scanning, image indexing/verification, quality
control and delivery via CD-ROM, Internet FTP or tape.
The document images and index data can be formatted for
release to a database, converted to Adobe's image-only
or searchable PDF file format or transformed into an
editable format via OCR (optical character recognition)
