Shelby County Government in Memphis, TN required a
comprehensive system overhaul due to an overload of
information and inefficient processes. CIMSgts
integrated an e-Government system combined with document
management and workflow technology to streamline Shelby
County's processes.
Our consultants provided workflow analysis and
hardware/software consulting for the County Commission
to automate the process of Commission Committee Meeting
Agendas, County Commission Meetings, and Minutes
generation. Since the new system provides direct links
into each of the departments, new resolutions from the
various departments are now precisely handled by the
workflow and document management system. It also
provides the county's citizens direct access to the
online versions of the Minutes, Resolutions, and
Ordinances. The document management system is being
expanded into the County Archives and into the Mayor's
office.
